Hey Fam,
I hope your week is going by with the greatest of love and poise and perfection! Enjoying the week over here turning a loss into a WIN!!! I got a chance to get into some sewing yesterday taking what I received my first shipment and fixing, altering, and creating. It's fun and it goes to show you like the African Proverb says:
This is just a temporary set back its not forever! When things do not go as planned all we can do is still enjoy the ride, do what we can to fix it, and let it ride!
So, This is what my yesterday afternoon looked like...Me fixing what I received😂😂😂.
My girls love their new little dresses!
I'm working on a pant suit!
I fixed several skirts!
I'm working on scarves!
I still have about 60 skirts to go through and fix or alter so that will take a while!!! In the mean time I am placing an order with a new supplier for skirts with matching scarves, jumpers, Kimonos, men's shirts, and kids clothes for official Grand Opening of Maelewano Motherland African fashion April 1.
Friday I plan on having the website updated with some scarves and skirts for purchase so stay tuned. Skirts that I can't fix will be turned to scarves, kids clothes, and clothes for me 😊 Turning a loss into a WIN...African Scarves and more...Just remember when life throws you lemons make lemonade!!!
